ALikhan Igembek
Alikhan is a Kazakh grappler from Astana, Kazakhstan. Alikhan started his jiu-jitsu journey in 2016, now he is a purple belt under Mansur Khabibulla. He trains and attends classes in the ORDA JJ gym, a place where Kazakhstan’s best athletes gather.
In 2021, Alikhan has debuted in the professional league AIGA PRO 11 where he won his opponent with Tarikoplata. That submission was recognized as “performance of the night”. Afterwards comes a series of two early victories (35 sec armbar, tarikoplata in round 2).
In 2022, Alikhan was the main event in AIGA PRO 17, where he defeated his opponent by guillotine in overtime. That performance was recognized as “Best submission”.
Major achievements:
- AJP World Pro 23 adult purple – 2nd Place;
- AIGA PRO 11 superfight – 1st Place;
- AIGA PRO 12 superfight – 1st Place;
- AIGA PRO 13 superfight – 1st Place;
- AIGA PRO 17 superfight – 1st Place.
