Maksim Hunt, at just 7 years old, is already making waves in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a proud sponsored athlete of AL Leone. Born in South Africa and raised in Bali since the age of 3, Maksim has found a second family in his coaches and teammates, dedicating all his free time to training with them.
Maksim began his Jiu-Jitsu journey at the age of 5. While progress was gradual at first, the last six months have seen impressive strides in his development. In 2024, he claimed gold medals at both ADCC Indonesia and the 16th AJP Youth World Championship, securing all victories by submission.
