AIGA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 3 SEASON Qualifiers
On December 7-8, 2024, in Astana, Kazakhstan, the AL LEONE Team showcased exceptional skill and determination at the AIGA Champions League Season 3 Qualifiers.
Day 1: A Strong Start
Our first match was against ITALIA 2.0, a tough team from Italy. We delivered a powerful performance, winning every bout with a 7-0 scoreline. Each victory came by submission, with every fight ending before the time limit. It was a flawless showing from our team.
Later that day, we faced the BROTHERS team, made up mostly of Brazilian athletes. Once again, we continued our perfect run, securing another clean sweep with all matches finished by submission.
Day 2: The Final Showdown
On Day 2, we faced the UNIVERSAL FIGHTERS in the final. The Universal Fighters are the reigning champions of the first season of the AIGA League of Champions and had previously defeated us during the Season 2 qualifiers. But this time, we were ready for revenge. With relentless focus and teamwork, we triumphed with a 5-2 victory, claiming the championship and a well-earned spot in the Season 3 Final. True to tradition, all of our victories were by submission.
With this win, the AL LEONE Team has secured its place in the AIGA Champions League Season 3 Final, set for 2025, where a $1M prize awaits the champions.
