Alikhan Igembek

Alikhan Igembek is a Kazakh grappler from Astana, Kazakhstan. He began his jiu-jitsu journey in 2016 and is now a black belt under Mansur Khabibulla. Alikhan trains at ORDA JJ, one of the leading academies in Kazakhstan where many of the country’s top athletes gather and prepare for competition.

In 2021, Alikhan made his debut in the professional grappling league AIGA PRO 11, where he secured a victory with a tarikoplata submission. This performance was recognized as “Performance of the Night”. He continued his successful run with two more early victories, including a 35-second armbar and another tarikoplata finish.

In 2022, Alikhan headlined AIGA PRO 17, where he defeated his opponent by guillotine in overtime. The submission was later awarded “Best Submission” of the event. Since then he has continued competing internationally in events such as ADCC Opens, AJP tournaments and AIGA team competitions.
