Checkmat Kaliningrad Academy

Checkmat Kaliningrad branch was established in 2023 and has since been dedicated to growing the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the region. Head coach Nikolai Markov, a black belt under Daud Adaev, leads the team with expertise and passion. Under his guidance, athletes have consistently achieved impressive results in both Russian and international competitions.

The first team uniform was supplied by AL LEONE, and it was in these uniforms that fighters won numerous medals and became champions at prestigious international tournaments, including AJP and ACB.

The academy takes great pride in the team’s accomplishments and remains committed to continuous growth, pushing the boundaries of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Kaliningrad.
