Felipe Machado

Felipe Machado is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, representing Pirâmide Grappling Association. Competing primarily in no-gi, Machado has become a regular presence in Brazil’s lighter-weight grappling divisions and on the international professional circuit.

Machado’s game is built around constant attacks and a strong leg-lock threat. He is willing to give up positional security to chase the finish, which gives his matches a fast, dynamic pace and makes them consistently entertaining to watch. That approach was on full display during Team Modolfo’s title-winning run at the 2023 AIGA Champion’s League, where Felipe went 2–0 with two submission victories.

More recently, Machado has continued to collect strong results across major no-gi events, including bronze at the second 2026 ADCC South American Trials and silver at the 2026 Brazilian No-Gi Championship. He has also been invited to compete in the -66 kg division at the 2026 ADCC World Championship.
