Kaya Rudolph

Kaya Rudolph is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt from Tauranga, New Zealand. He currently trains between B-Team in Austin, Texas and Absolute MMA in Melbourne, Australia.

Kaya began training jiu-jitsu at the age of eight and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport. He started his journey at Legion 13 in Perth, Western Australia, where he achieved early success in local competitions. By the age of ten he was already training alongside adult athletes, including periods spent at gyms in Thailand.

As his career progressed, Kaya moved to Bali to train at Bali MMA before later joining Absolute MMA in Melbourne, where he trained under Lachlan Giles. He later continued his development alongside athletes such as Craig Jones and began focusing heavily on the no-gi competitive scene, eventually moving to the United States to pursue high-level training.

In addition to competing internationally, Kaya has also taught seminars across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, sharing his knowledge in areas such as guard passing, front headlocks, leg locks, wrestling and back attacks.
