Lucas Barbosa
Lucas Daniel Silva Barbosa, widely known as Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist, submission grappler and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt competitor. Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished athletes of his generation, Barbosa has achieved elite success in both gi and no-gi competition.
Known for his explosive athleticism, powerful pressure passing and relentless pace, Barbosa has built an exceptional competitive record across the world’s most prestigious grappling tournaments. Over the course of his career he has captured multiple IBJJF World and Pan-American titles and established himself as one of the most consistent podium finishers in the sport.
Barbosa has also proven himself at the highest level of submission grappling, earning medals at the ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship. Throughout his career he has achieved success in both weight and absolute divisions at major championships, demonstrating his ability to compete and win against athletes across different weight classes.
