Mike

Mike (Liu Yucheng) is a young Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete from Tianjin, China. He represents Xingchen Jiu-Jitsu and trains under head coach Yuan Yi. Mike currently competes as an orange belt.

He began training Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of eight while also practicing freestyle wrestling. This combination gave him a strong grappling foundation and helped him develop quickly into one of the most active competitors on the Chinese competition circuit.

Mike has competed successfully across multiple weight divisions in both gi and no-gi. His style is built around constant forward pressure, aggressive attacks, and a strong preference for submission finishes. In recent years he has consistently reached the top of the podium at domestic Brazilian jiu-jitsu events.

His competitive record includes titles at ADCC, AJP, SJJCF and national-level jiu-jitsu tournaments, as well as the Best Men’s Technique Award at the 2024 Zhejiang Jiu-Jitsu Open. He also continues to develop his wrestling alongside his Brazilian jiu-jitsu training.
