Olesia Zhuravleva
Olesia Zhuravleva is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu awarded by Master Marcus Vinicius Di Lucia, a 10th degree black belt and founder of the Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club. She is a participant and winner of numerous national and international competitions in both gi and no-gi divisions of jiu-jitsu and grappling.
Olesia began her jiu-jitsu journey in Russia when the sport was just starting to take root. Early on, she achieved her first victories in youth tournaments, often competing against boys due to the lack of female participants at that time. After a break from the sport, Olesia returned with renewed determination and transitioned to the adult division, earning her black belt through daily training and consistent participation in various tournaments.
For the past four years, Olesia has consistently secured first place at national championships and has won absolute categories within the country. She regularly competes in international events, including AJP Grand Slams and AJP World Championships.
