Ruslan Israilov

Ruslan Israilov is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and grappling athlete from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Over the course of his career he has won major international titles in grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished grapplers from Kazakhstan.

Ruslan gained international recognition after winning the Asian Games championship in 2018 and later becoming an ADCC Asian champion. Throughout his career he has competed in high-level tournaments across multiple international federations including UWW, ADCC and AJP.

A major milestone in his career came in 2024 when he captured the UWW Grappling World Championship title in the 92 kg division. Alongside his competitive career, Ruslan remains active as both an athlete and a coach.
